3.1 Through Our Mobile Application (Drivers)

When individuals use the Drive Salim app, we may collect:

Driving behaviour data (speed, acceleration, braking, cornering, phone usage while driving)
GPS and location data during active driving sessions
Device information (device model, operating system, app version)
Account registration details (name, mobile number, email address)
Trip duration and distance data

3.2 Through LinkedIn Lead Generation Forms

When you submit your information through our LinkedIn advertising campaigns, we collect the details you provide in the form, which may include:

Full name and job title
Company name and industry
Business email address
Your responses to qualifying questions (e.g., motor insurance portfolio size, telematics readiness)

This information is collected for the purpose of following up on your expressed interest in partnering with or learning more about Drive Salim.

5. How We Share Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data with:

Authorised insurance partner companies — driving scores and anonymised trip data are shared only pursuant to formal data processing agreements
LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company — as the platform through which our ads and lead generation forms are operated, LinkedIn processes certain data in accordance with its own Privacy Policy
Cloud infrastructure and technology service providers — acting as data processors under our instruction, bound by appropriate contractual safeguards
Regulatory authorities or law enforcement — where required by applicable Saudi law

All third parties who handle personal data on our behalf are required to maintain appropriate security standards and process data only for the purposes we specify.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law:

Lead and enquiry data collected via LinkedIn: retained for up to 24 months from the date of collection, or until you request deletion
Driver behavioural and trip data: retained in accordance with the terms of the applicable insurance partnership agreement
Website analytics data: retained for up to 12 months

Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, your data will be securely deleted or anonymised.

Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), you have the right to:

Access your personal data that we hold
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention obligations)
Withdraw consent to data processing at any time, where processing is based on consent
Object to or restrict certain types of processing
